HANGAR 9

Hangar 9 is Air New Zealand's design, development and exhibition centre, based at 136 Fanshawe Street in downtown Auckland. The centre was used to launch our new long haul product on 26 January 2010 to New Zealand and international media. Due to the huge success of the launch of our world-beating Boeing 777-300ER interior and the intense media coverage it has generated in New Zealand and overseas, over 6,500 guests and Air New Zealand staff have already visited Hangar 9.

The exhibition centre showcases Air New Zealand's revolutionary new interior to be launched on its new aircraft later in 2010. Ambassadors are on hand to take visitors through Hangar 9, showcasing key design developments through a visual timeline. Visitors can then view a mock-up of the new B777-300ER cabin, complete with the innovative Business Premier, Premium Economy Spaceseat™ and Economy Skycouch™ seats, galley and toilet.
